Short answer: to create pins with AI or templates, prepare the page, paste its link into a generator, pick the most different designs, edit photos and text, write search-friendly titles and descriptions, and publish over time. In Pin Magic Studio the design step takes minutes and gives you 10+ pins to choose from.

What you need first

  • A Pinterest Business account (free). You can convert a personal account in settings.
  • Your website claimed in Pinterest, which helps with Rich Pins and analytics.
  • A page to promote: a blog post, product or landing page.
  • Three to five boards with keyword-rich names. See how to organize pinterest boards.
  • A Pin Magic account. See pricing for plans.

Step 1: Prepare the page

  • Write a clear, specific title.
  • Add a short meta description.
  • Make sure there is at least one sharp, large featured image.
  • Check the page loads quickly and shows no errors.

The pin will borrow its message from the page, so this is the most useful five minutes of the whole process.

Step 2: Choose your keywords

Type your topic into Pinterest search and note the autocomplete suggestions. Choose three to five phrases. You can also draft ideas with the keyword generator. Read Pinterest keyword research for more.

Step 3: Paste the link into Studio

  1. Log in and install the Pin Magic extension in Chrome, Edge or Brave if you have not yet.
  2. Open Pin Magic Studio from your dashboard.
  3. Paste the link to your page.
  4. Browse the 10+ designs and choose the ones that look most different from each other.

Pin Magic Studio reads the link you paste and gives you 10+ pin designs built from 100+ templates. You can change the colours, fonts and photos, then export 1000 x 1500 PNG files.

Step 4: Edit the pins

  • Change the headline so it uses one of your keywords.
  • Swap in a different photo or crop for each pin.
  • Set your brand colours and fonts once so every pin matches.
  • Delete anything that looks off.
TipUse a different photo or crop on each pin, not only a different template. Pinterest looks at the image itself, so see fresh pins.

Step 5: Write the title and description

Use a real search phrase near the start of the title and keep it under 100 characters. Write a short, natural description under 500 characters. Draft both with the title generator and description generator, then edit them.

You can add a few hashtags with the hashtag generator, but a clear description matters more.

Step 6: Export and upload

Export the pins as 1000 x 1500 PNG files. Upload them in Pinterest, choose the board, add the destination link and schedule them. For bigger batches see how to batch upload pins.

Step 7: Publish over time and review

Spread the pins over several weeks instead of posting them all at once. Check saves and outbound clicks in Pinterest Analytics after a few weeks and make more pins on the topics that work. See how often to post on Pinterest.

Tips for better pins

  • Start with your best-performing posts.
  • Repurpose your archive in one session. See AI pin generator for bloggers.
  • Refresh evergreen posts every few months with new pins.
  • Mix generated pins with one hand-made hero pin for your most important page.
  • Check results monthly and double down.
